The sequel to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen starts here! What is The Initiative? More to the point, why doesn’t the all-seeing SOUNDWAVE know anything about it? How did they come to reanimate-control RAVAGE? SOUNDWAVE must find the answers, and he’ll destroy anything in his path to get them!
This 6 issue mini series picks up from the end of Revenge of the Fallen, but you don’t need to have seen it to get into it! (Like me!)
The story is fast passed and well thought out, but a bit of a Deus Ex Machina at the end. The art is passable, but suffers the same way as the movie – it’s hard to tell one transformers face from another.
All 6 issues are available from the IDW app – coming out a month after the print version. In my opinion, Transformers is one of IDW’s better licenced properties!
