Gardena, CA (August 18, 2011) - Digital Manga, Inc., one of the manga industry’s most unique and creative publishers, is proud to announce the launch of Harlequin manga titles to the Barnes & Noble Nook e-reading devices! In cooperation with SOFTBANK Creative Corp., Digital Manga will launch the first batch of 20 Harlequin manga titles to theB&N Nookbook Store and will continue to do so with over a hundred more titles to follow in the weeks and months ahead, including foreign editions in Chinese, Korean, and French.

Harlequin, a Canadian company focused on the romance genre, founded a Japanese branch – Harlequin K. K. in Tokyo in 1988. Digital Manga will be starting off their Harlequin manga release priced at $5.99 each and available in two editions—the Nook Edition (good for the Nook First Edition device and the new Nook Simple Touch Reader),  and the Nook Color Edition, formatted for each device’s own screen resolution.
