Digital comics – crossing the world!

The Aakash tablet will now have something for avid comic readers. Indian Army Chief V K Singh launched the digital version of Indian War Comics (IWC).

The digital comics will now be available for the users of the upcoming version of the tablet.

The comics launched are based on Param Vir Chakra winner Bana Singh, CaptainVikram Batra and Mumbai 26/11 war hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan ‘Ashok Chakra’.

Singh said that the idea is to inspire children and added that the war comics are going to make a fantastic difference especially when they are loaded on to the Akash tablet.

The digital version of the comics will be available for free on the Aakash and Ubislate Tablets of Datawind. The print versions of the comics are already available in the market through Om Books and Westland.
