Review: 2000AD – Prog 1782

Prog 1782 continues on where 1781 left of – Fire, Mortis and Fire!

Eve of destruction continues with the chaos of the released dark judges. Dredd and co get an idea of what they are up against and it looks like this is going to be the long haul! At them moment the Dark Judges are giving us enough to have us wanting more – which is pretty good story telling for characters which could come across tired, but don’t!
Flesh: Midnight Cowboys continues on well showing the dark side of the Butterfly Effect and how much there will be in the future. It also carries on the forboding of the last issue!
Part 8 of The Zaucer of Zilk adds all the colour you would need to a title. It completes what looks like the penultimate arc and leads into the final arc. There’s a real Queen of Hearts vibe at the end too!
Time Twisters like Future Shocks adds a nice one-shot buffer between stories. Future shocks are a favorite of mine, and these don’t disappoint either taking the “if only” premise to it’s conclusion!
Cadet Anderson: Algol continues the PSI route with an interesting point part way through which I’m sure will have bearing further on in the story!
