After reading Garth Ennis do Punisher, The Boys and Preacher I thought there was nothing I hadn’t seen him do.
I was wrong. The Shadow has the perfect mix for Ennis, with murder, mystery and war. The fact that The Shadow is a non-traditional cape helps too.
The mixture between the action and the political intrigue is really good. The Shadow isn’t a character I really relate too, but I find myself drawn to it.
The art is brilliant and created the suspense really well!
