Review: Bandette #1

One of the new wave of digital comics from Monkeybrain Comics

Paul Tobin writes a very European style of comic here. I grew up on Tintin and and the like and I see a lot of that here. Very quick moving from one part to the next he quickly make s Bandette a very likable character.

The action moves very quickly after dropping you into the heist and it works very well. This is a very different type of comic that people will be used to!

Colleen Coover’s art complements the story very well, with bright colours in the foreground and wash colours in the back. The simple strokes combines with the detailed parts are also excellent.

This is a different read compared to most comics, but that is what this, Monkeybrain and digital comics is all about.
