This, along with The Shadow are Dynamite’s pulp marquee characters. I feel the Spider gets lost in the ‘shadow’ of the other titles though.
Although a good steady title, The Spider threatens much, but I feel it yet to deliver. The art is excellent in pieces, but sometimes seems to fall down. There are some excellent ideas here, but I think they are trying too hard to introduce too much in this initial arc.
Personally I am will keep up with The Spider, but it is skirting too close to being dropped.
