November 1, 2012 – New York, NY – ComiXology announced today that the first six books in Jeff Kinney’s best-selling Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, published by Amulet Books, an imprint of ABRAMS, are now available digitally through a dedicated iOS app powered by comiXology – the revolutionary digital comics platform that recently crested 100 million downloads of comics and graphic novels. The brand new seventh book, The Third Wheel, will be available for downloaded on November 13th, the same day as the print release. The Third Wheel is currently available for pre-order at www.comiXology.com.
With over 75 million copies in print worldwide, The Diary of a Wimpy Kid iOS app presents the series in Guided View – comiXology’s patent pending reading technology that turns reading comics into an experience and redefines how comics are read on digital devices.
