Review: 2000AD – Prog 1835

Four stories in this weeks 2000AD, two are finishing and two are ongoing! So expect two new stories next week!
We finally come to the end of The Forsaken in this weeks Judge Dredd. This story has been full of revelations, and this issue is no different! There’s a final twist in the tale which you know must come back to haunt Dredd! Again, it’s well done and there’s some nice parts which fit into the Mega City mythos!
We also continue with Cadet Anderson – I enjoy these stories, here the characters think they’ve come to the end, but it’s evident that is not the case. The simplicity of the Anderson stories as a cadet are brilliant, and hark back to an easier time for the Judges!
Sinister Dexter moves onto the second act in the story with Malone Again picking up where we were left off from last week. Finny deals with the cliffhanger from last week in a unique way (for comics anyway!) and I’ve really enjoyed this series so far. It may be a bit confusing for new readers, but it’s all good!
Finally we come to the end of this story of Stickleback we get an ending of sorts and a look into how the future for our anti-hero will look. The art is a joy to read and an excellent addition to the series!
