Review: The Shadow #17

The Shadow continues to be my favourite Dynamite title – and this, the penultimate issue of the arc, continues that trend.

There’s not a huge amount of action here, but there has been a lot of that recently, so this shows the investigative potential of The Shadow and how he gets his information.

Next issue we get the final showdown between The Shadow and The Light and the differences and similarities between the two have be excellent. There are shades of grey between them, which neither seem to have noticed, but it all works very well.

The art continues to be of high standard – and those covers! – making the darks and lights very subtle, but standing out at the same time!

This is a series it’s well worth going back to pick up the collections, but it’s not long until a new arc to jump on!
