Review: 2000AD – Prog 1852

An excellent cover highlighting the events going on on the current arc of Brass Sun!

Judge Dredd kicks us off as usual with the continuation under Mega City One. I’m enjoying this one and the art is nice and crisp. The addition of the new Judges is working well as is the look of the King Goblin – this is a fun arc!

In Brass Sun it’s war! And the backdrop of this invasion works well against the politics within the world. There’s some nice bits here and the characters are well defined. The art continues to be strong and suits the style of story!

Flesh continues the old school storytelling in the prehistoric era. This is an old style adventure which works well with some grim humour and something different!

Aquila starts off with a battle and ends with something different. Something deep in the tunnels of Rome! Although a continuation of an existing series, this is still a story for new readers to get into. The art is excellent!

Damnation Station takes a bit of a break from the main story with a pastor confessing his sins. It’s a bit less confusing than the previous progs! The art seems smoother, but the story gives a good idea of the feel of the overall arc!
