This week SEQUENTIAL has released UK indie publisher Great Beast’s new lineup of comics, all for just 99¢/69p each.

Great Beast is home to some of the UK’s best comic artists. New releases include the hotly-anticipated comics Tall Tales and Outrageous Adventures by Isabel Greenberg, Show Me the Map to Your Heart by John Cei Douglas, Hitsville UK #2 by John Riordan and Dan Cox and Carry Me by Dan Berry.

Great Beast new releases
Carry Me is a beautiful, wordless, and affecting visual metaphor for love, fear, life and death. A man carries his infant daughter through an overgrown field where they are pursued relentlessly by a growling dog.

Tall Tales and Outrageous Adventures is a new series by Isabel Greenberg, the award-winning author behind The Encyclopedia of Early Earth. In this new series she appropriates well loved myths, legends and fairytales, taking a playful, modern approach to classic tales.

Hitsville UK #2 continues the pop art, surreal, musical soap opera following the adventures of the weirdos and wannabes of indie record label, Hitsville UK.

Show Me The Map To Your Heart & Other Stories from John Cei Douglas ranges from nostalgic coming of age tales to stories of long distance relationships, being stranded on a desert island, coping with mental health problems and the childlike wonder of exploring fantasy worlds.

Winters KnightOther titles available from Great Beast on SEQUENTIAL include Winter’s Knight: Day One by Robert M. Ball, a stunning, wordless story that won Best Comic at last week’s British Comic Awards; Ellerbisms and Chloe Noonan: Monster Hunter by Marc Ellerby and The Everyday and the Blood Blokes series by Adam Cadwell.

If you haven’t downloaded SEQUENTIAL yet, it’s available to download for free on the App Store. To get regular updates on new releases, previews and sneak peeks, check out our Twitter and Facebook pages.
