Review: The Private Eye #5

We’re pretty much halfway in this maxi-series and it still gets me excited when I see a new issue alert pop into my inbox!
After the devastation of last issue we get the fallout and a lot of evil scheming! PI is rounding out as an excellent character with a nice cross between the old world and the new world. His interactions with his grandfather are excellent and act as an anchor for readers.
The story continues to evolve well with the investigation continuing well and the plotting on the other side and a death to hide his secret! The final page revelation works well again with comments that have been made throughout the series!

The art continues to take full advantage of the widescreen layout with some brilliant panel layouts too!
This continues to be a brave experiment, but also an excellent read.
