Avery Hill joins SEQUENTIAL

The UK small press publisher launches exclusive digital editions

Acclaimed UK small press publisher Avery Hill have joined forces with SEQUENTIAL to release a range of their comics and graphic novels as digital editions, exclusively available via the iPad app.

Avery Hill Publishing was launched in 2012 and has quickly grown to become one of the best-regarded small press publishers in the UK, with titles nominated for several British awards.

Co-publishers at Avery Hill, Ricky Miller and David White, commented, “We know SEQUENTIAL are exactly the right partner for us to enter into the digital arena with, as they’re as committed as we are to giving readers the best experience possible. They provide a cutting edge digital platform for the greatest comics around, and we’re honoured to have our titles join them.”

Chloë Pursey, editorial director of SEQUENTIAL, said, “We’re really delighted to welcome Avery Hill to SEQUENTIAL. Their eclectic, engrossing, lovingly-produced titles represent some of the very best of the UK small press scene and we’re thrilled to be able to present their books in exciting new digital versions.”

The announcement is accompanied by the launch of the first tranche of Avery Hill titles on SEQUENTIAL, including Days by Simon Moreton, Maleficium by EdieOP, The Beginner’s Guide to Being Outside by Gill Hatcher, and Grey Area by Tim Bird (an exclusive collected edition of all three issues). More titles will follow.

As ever, SEQUENTIAL is free to download from the App Store and you can see a free four-page preview of each book in the app or on the SEQUENTIAL website.
