Review: 2000 AD Prog 1920

Shooting From The Lip!

Shooting from the Lip!

Prog 1920 kicks off with Dark Justice as Dredd and Anderson go against the Dark Judges on a giant spaceship. Even though the ship is large, the action is very claustrophobic and contained, which makes the fight against Death and company even more exciting – next week is the finale to the run!

Part 3 of Survival Geeks – Steampunked – has our geeks settling into the new world and learning a lot about how it is run and some new friends. There are some nice references here -as you would expect – and things are going a little too well….

Thargs 3hrillers – Station to Station reaches its conclusion as the multi-dimensional incursion reaches it’s final point. For anyone who uses London Underground, the idea that it’s connected to another world is not that much of a stretch. This was something different, and raised some nice points along with a different ending!

Part 10 of The Order continues the battle against the Wurms is the shadows. There are many fronts here, and lot of people and parts to keep up with. Things also seemed to have escalated a bit more quickly, I do think this could have done with a slower telling!

Savage continues his problems with family and the Grinders as Bill makes his choice and then moves onto the last – his brother. This is a really good read and fits in nicely with the world of Savage – hopefully there is more to come!
