Death Sentence: London #2
Martial law declared in London as the G+ Virus runs rampant! SEX IS BANNED???! Weasel’s free gig takes over Brixton – and it’ll take a platoon of tanks to shift him! New powers – and new players – surface all over the capital! And in the USA, agent Jeb Mulgrew gets a do-or-die mission! Where is Verity? Where is… ARTGIRL?!
We get a closer look at Weasel here, what he lost and how he reacts! The government is clamping down and there looks to be a pushback with some new G+ people reacting. On top of that our American agent is trying to get back into real life after being undercover – then he gets a new task! It’s all setting up!
Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor #14
PART 1 OF THE 2-PART SEASON FINALE! Series co-writers Al Ewing and Rob Williams team up for an unmissable mini-epic, as a year’s worth of stories come to a head! Can the Doctor save his new friends from their time-twisting fates? Will Alice find peace – or be marooned far from Earth?! Will ARC finally discover the truth about itself – or be reduced to atoms?! Will Jones fulfill his cosmic rock god destiny – or die among the stars?! And who will be left to join the Doctor as we head into Year Two?!
This issue deals with the overall fallout of all the Doctor and his companions have gone through over the previous 13 issues! The Doctor knows what he has done wrong, and we get an idea of his relationships – with Alice, ARC and Jones – and the TARDIS. We get a nice cliffhanger ending, and something I’m looking forward to seeing at the end of the season!
Minions #2
Prepare for more despicable adventures with the Minions! From bananas to basketball, exam-time to vacations, laugh along as the Minions continue to cause chaos wherever they go.
This is a hard one to review – what we get are some short, fun silent stories (again) with some excellent visual humour. Taking in some aspects of the Minions and some are just some general humourous stories! My son loves this and it makes him laugh, so I can’t fault it!
