Review: Lumberjanes #17

With the Lumberjanes in danger, Jen must find a way to escape Abigail’s grasp and get to her troop in time! Meanwhile, Rosie and the Bear Woman must find the source of the Grootslang’s wrath, before it’s too late for everyone!

This issue completes the arc and we learn a little more about the Lumberjanes, the forest and the camp. I feel we’ve really seen these characters evolve and the new characters being introduced are done gradually and smoothly. There’s a lot of action here, and not all of them involve the huge Grootslang! Jen seems to be evolving so well here. The final pages are well done as well and introduce a nice little bit of information that gives us another mystery of the camp!
