Review: 2000 AD prog 1947

The latest prog – reviewed!

1947

Judge Dredd completes the story and the arc in Enceladus: Old Life with a solution to the invasion by nixon and the former Judges is discovered, and dealt with – Dredd is Dredd but the supporting cast are very interesting and it looks as if they are here to stay – these new Judges!

Grey Area starts the battle against the god-star with Feeding Frenzy. The humans know what they’re up against, while the others are only just learning. This is a harder mission for them as they are up against the god-star and it’s drones, but the Grey Area staff of this world. There’s a lot going on and it’s all squeezed into so few pages!

The AlienistThe Haunting of Hex House carries on the creepy feel as we discover more about the two occult investigators – as well as a little of the history behind them. We also find out who is not what they seem and there is more to come it seems!
Tharg’s 3rillers PresentApocalypse Anonymous has the final part of this story, but the ending shows that it’s not the end for the characters in it! Again, I wish I could read more of these, as I feel it has legs, I really like the banter and the mix of characters!

Dreams Of Deadworld features Mortis this week, and it’s all perfectly gruesome as we, again, hark back to their time on Deadworld. There’s some aliens here visiting here and they cheer him up!
