Review: Barb Wire #3

“Your death will be swift, though not slow!”—Wyvern Stormblüd

Bounty hunter Barb Wire goes after the lion in its lair when she confronts the drunken powerhouse named Wyvern Stormblüd in his squat—a decaying steel mill almost as hazardous as he is. It’s a battle between the swift and smart and the ’faced and ferocious!

I’m really enjoying the cover work on this series!

This was a fun issue, with Barb Wire going after the big (drunk) dog. There is some really good humour here, Wyvern continues to be an interesting foil for Barb Wire and there as some excellent insights into him – his speaches, his sleeping….and whatever else he is doing! Although over a short amount of time, this feels like a longer issue, with a lot going on in a short amount of time.
The art is excellent with the colouring adding into the mix!
