Europe Comics are at a selection of events in London in April
Europe (April 5th, 2016) – Europe Comics, the joint digital initiative of 13 European comics industry players, is glad to announce the upcoming events for “Europe Comics Live in London”, taking place April 12-14 across the British capital, in partnership with the London Book Fair, the London Book and Screen Week, the French Institute and the House of Illustration.
Apart from a stand (2B11) at the London Book Fair, Europe Comics will be organising two panels, with British comics heavyweight Pat Mills and Electricomics co-founder Leah Moore, amongst others. An evening at the House of Illustration dedicated to women in comics will see Posy Simmonds and Florence Cestac in a discussion chaired by comics historian Paul Gravett. The French Institute of London will be hosting a ‘Comics Cordiale’ evening dedicated to European authors, with artists from 5 countries, among which will be Sylvain Runberg, author of Orbital (Cinebook). Europe Comics authors Vanna Vinci (Italy) and Marcial Toledano (Spain) will be partaking in a live sketching event as part of the London Book and Screen Week.
