Review: Dark Knight III: The Master Race #4

The stage has been set and the Master Race is upon us, with battles between super beings and some deaths. With all of this it still seems like a slow build up with Bruce working in his slow methodical way, while others are baying for his blood – literally in some cases. The fate of the other heroes is also interesting with The Flash and The Atom making appearances – as well as Batgirl in the back up story.
I’m still on the fence on this series, as I thought that DKII was enough of the story to keep the series at an end. The Kandor Kryptonians have an interesting feel to them though, and I have no idea what’s going to happen next – I suppose that what keeps my buying this series!
The art continues the standard, but I was surprised that there were not as many large panels and spreads in this issue – everything felt more enclosed as an issue – I don’t know if this was the plan or not, but it was a different read!
