Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency: A Spoon Too Short #3

A Spoon Too Short is Dirk Gently’s most baffling and incomprehensible case. Inspired by the tantalizing alternative title for the Dirk adventure Douglas Adams was working on prior to his death, A Spoon Too Short follows the continuing adventures of the world’s weirdest detective all the way to Africa!

Things are moving on nicely here with Dirk becoming slightly less infuriating to his colleagues. There is some nice parts to the story with the addition of the poachers and the deals they have and the ‘conservation’ of the rhino’s. The backstory of Dirk as a youth is very interesting and a little sad, as we see at the end of the story. The change ion art works out very well here! We’re past the halfway mark in this story, and I’m looking forward to the next part!

Back to the Future #7

WHO IS DOC BROWN? Marty McFly thought he knew, but now even Doc himself isn’t sure. The mystery of the “Continuum Conundrum” deepens — as Marty and Jennifer’s lives are thrown in upheaval again!

This new longer story arc assumes that you have a knowledge of the movies and what has happened. There is also some reference to what has previously gone before in this run. It has been a good fun read, and I’m sure we all have theories as to what has happened to Doc Brown, but who, why and where? This was quite a fast moving issue, with some close calls and scrapes as Marty (Martin) and Jennifer try to help whilst also work out what is going on!
