Reviews: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Atomic Robo and the Temple of Od & Back To The Future: Citizen Brown

Thoughts on this weeks digital comics from IDW Publishing

After the big happenings in issue #60 there is a lot going on in this issue as the Turtles. Splinter and the rest of the group re-evaluate what they are going to do against a foe that they really didn’t know they had until recently!
There are also missing friends and family to deal with. Splinter takes the lead more so in this issue, which surprises some and one is especially vocal in a way that catches some off guard.
A interesting calming issue which finishes with a nice cliffhanger for the team!

It’s always great to see the return of Atomic Robo and this story – set in the 30’s – seems to be very interesting. We’ve got spys, old friends, science and more as Robo looks into the missing scientist who may change the war! There is the humour we’ve come to expect from Robo, with some really nice scenes! I’m looking forward to reading more of this!

This Back To The Future Mini-series comes to its penultimate issue as we get some daring escapes, a return to the past and some more meddling. I can only hope that the timeline will sort itslef out (it usually does) but there were some fun points here as Doc Brown (Citizen Brown) works his magic and there are some classic moments. The other good part of this series is that it doesn’t mess with the main one!
