I love the Mike Mahle cover for this issue!
The hunt went badly, but Van Helsing still has a mothman to deal with and things look grim for those left behind – luckily Van Helsing notices a weakness and works with that! It gets some results and then it’s time for the mop up! The rest of the issue (aside from some fish-monsters) is filled with the big frankenstein reveal that we knew was coming! (It’s in the title!) It’s nicely done and, in a way, true to the original story as the reasons that the monster is built come from the right place – but as you expect things look like they’re going to go horribly wrong!
Next issue looks to have even more action!
