My thoughts on two of DC’s digital comics
Concluding this latest mystery in this issue, we get even more mysteries – as well as something moving forwards for the series as a whole. The action moves excellently in this issue, as the club investigate, solve and try to stop the book burning. There are some aspects which build into the larger story for this semester. Fire, revenge and school disciplinary issues. Again this is an excellent read!
Starting a new arc, and The Flash has training problems. He’s worried about making the mistakes he made with Kid Flash (the previous one) and is trying to make things work. What he doesn’t think of is how stubborn some can be. We get a new villain, joining Central City to fill the vacuum left by the rogues. He’s enough that he can cause some trouble for Kid Flash, and adds to the cast of the comic. We then get a return of a villain – one I don’t know, but I must say he makes an interesting (re)introduction!
