Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe #4

The main story arc comes to a close as we discover some more who’s, why’s and what’s! There are some interesting dynamics going on in this series, which probably would have gotten lost in the main TMNT run. I like the addition of the new mutant, and the over-eager army who want to fight back against the threat. There is a lot of scope to bring in others from the TMNT universe – which is probably what this series is for!
The turtles all get a chance to shine too – with all of them doing what they do best. Michaelangelo was always my favourite and here he continues to be the moral center of the brothers. Raph has a nice arc in this too though!
The secondary story still has some way to go – featuring Leo and this has a lot of action as it seems he is fighting his nightmares – in this case Metalhead!
