Review: 2000 AD – Prog 2015

My thoughts on this weeks 2000 AD

Deep In The Heart starts with a bang for Judge Dredd with the end of Dredd’s countdown (which began and ended with ‘1’) we also get some more details of the mysterious perp Dredd is after! We also get something building to something big – this story links to the wider Mega City One problems which have only started to come out!

Kingmaker ramps it up, with an excellent issue – the Orc and the wizard still don’t seem to see eye to eye, but there is an excellent rescue for them both – although maybe not for one!

Hope For The Future features a lot more of the magic side – the magic (plus some) of the silver screen. It’s really well done, and gives us a better look at the boy and the town – I must admit I agree with the sentiments!

Outside of time we discover what had happened in The OrderWyrm War. There is a bit of an explanation and some interesting bits as past and present meet! I liked this issue and there were some good scenes – it finishes with what looks like is a misunderstanding!

The KingdomAs It Is In Heaven continues and it looks like the trap is sprung, Gene’s ‘pack’ is in trouble and this issue was building up to Gene going for them. It’s well done and well told as we get to see his thought process and the thoughts of those who are hunting!
