Action Tank is my original, 100-page graphic novel about a boy who finds himself on the other side of the Solar System and must rely on his brains, his courage and the advice of a mysterious talking unicorn guy if he wants to get home in time for his Mum’s spaghetti carbonara. He does. It’s his favourite.

Along the way he discovers he’s been drafted into a centuries old Intergalactic Space Trooper Squadron, and is now in possession of the most powerful piece of technology in the universe – The Action Tank!

A fast-moving adventure created with 7-12 year old readers in mind, Action Tank is a story about discovery, friendship, and what you’re really capable of.

For years I’ve dreamt of how cool it would be to create a comic book series featuring my own superhero. However, when I was brainstorming a lot of different superpower ideas I quickly realized that all of the cool stuff was already taken…Or so I thought. While this series might not necessarily be about a “super hero” it does feature a space bounty hunter with a unique power that has yet to be explored in comic books. What is that power you ask? He can transform into a Water Bottle.

Now I know, you’d have to be pretty high to make something like that up but hear me out. Since the main character is a space bounty hunter, you would think hunting down monsters and aliens in space would be tough with a power like that. But actually, the more I explored the ability of the power, the more useful and tactical it became. For starters, he can endlessly refill the bottle with water which allows him to use his water as a weapon. He can build up pressure inside the water bottle to make his cap fly off far distances(or to squirt water at others) and since that water is part of him he can transform back into a human with ease after doing something like soaking a villains cloths and turning back into a human, putting his enemy in a surprise headlock(disappearing a reappearing within a blink of an eye, catching villains off guard).

Now obviously this falls within the genres of a Comedy/Action series which is a mash of genres I’ve personally modeled a lot of my writing for this story after. This project has been in development for a short while but believe I have a great, experienced team on board that is sure to deliver something entertaining.
