Dryagin vs. The Triumvirate… to the death!
The final episode – 138 pages!
Wow, there is a lot going on here, and there is a lot of heart and excellent action put into all of this.
We begin, as usual with the Secret Journal of Decon Snow. It takes a little bit of a dark feel to it all, which all links to the ending of the story – on earth!
Next up Dryagin takes the fight to the Triumvirate and it goes in a way which is to be expected – although it is really well told, the pace of the sequence and the art keep you on Dryagin’s coat tales and you almost feel the shock the same as him!
We do get a genuine surprise in the conversation between Dryagin and Snow though, and it makes a kind of sense, but we don’t get time to dwell as this is the final battle!
When it looks like the Triumvirate get their own way, things go rapidly downhill for all of them as the chickens from previous issues come home to roost!
We get to meet the mysterious director too and he may seem familiar – both to us, and to the characters in the comic, as he does seem to match the type!
This was an excellent ending, there looks like their may be scope for a sequel – or maybe some spin-offs!
Thank you to Simon & Geoff!
