My thoughts on some of Marvel’s digital comics!
Secret Wars and Civil War II collide here with Jessica really getting the brunt of it! She gets to investigate the killer of her client- the clients husband! And he has some thoughts on the current Marvel reality!
Jessica doesn’t take this well, and she makes a decision that may cost her and those close to her. Meanwhile Luke also gets some home truths from Ben about the press and how to act – it’s interesting in this issue, but there are a lot of talking heads!
Aphra’s story links up with what’s going on in the movies here – only she doesn’t know it! The Imperial reaction to her, the droids and Aphra’s father is to be expected, but the Imperial in charge first has a good chat with her commander – who may seem familiar to those of you who are fans!
It liked this issue and the bond between Aphra and her father is very interesting – it seems to be close, but frustrating!
This issue is almost all battle – with Thor Odinson making his way through these agents of Thanos (and the Collector) with Beta Ray Bill, a hellhound and a goat….!
It’s a really good battle issue interspersed with some interesting backstory to how he feels about the hammer when he wants it and how he feels when he lost it!
