My thoughts on the latest issue of the Darth Maul series…
Darth Maul’s secret mission continues, and it looks like this mini series is picking up at the middle point for the run. The back and forth between the Sith and Jedi Padawan is very interesting, as there is possibly not the fear or the shock from the Padawan. It’s actually a quite interesting dimension to it all, and looks to be something more when we find out what’s going to happen next issue. The art is good, with some really nice larger and crowd scenes. I like the different aliens and the expressions from them all.
There are some good fight scenes and the supporting cast all work well and get some time to shine as well!
