Reviews – Cinderella: Serial Killer & Grimm Tales Of Terror

My thoughts on two of this weeks digital comics from Zenescope Entertainment – Grimm Tales Of Terror and the final issue of Cinderella: Serial Killer

Cinderella’s final battle starts here as she travels across the dimensions fighting Robyn. After she has killed her way around the GFT universe this is a low gore level story. Nevertheless, it serves a point with a nice idea of ‘resetting’ Cindy and giving her (and us) something to move forward with. The Tarot orginisation are really being set up well, filling the void left by the Dark Horde. The action is really well done, with some nice use of the dimension traveling and visiting some interesting areas!
The ending was a good ending – giving us reasons for what the reader probably expected, but well told!

Timed nicely to come out with the trailer for ‘It’. I’ve never like the clown thing – the original ‘It’ TV series was bad enough, and I think I’ll give the movie a miss. The build up to this story was quite good. Two unlikeable teens using clown costumes to scare local kids. The twist is pretty obvious, but it’s nice to see those getting what they deserve! It’s a bit of a funny one though, but the clowns actually did a service!
The art is nice, and I like the differences in all the clowns.
