Review – Robyn Hood: Tarot

this issue serves as a very action packed bridge between Robyn Hood: I Love NY/Day Of The Dead and new series GFT: Tarot and Robyn Hood: The Hunt. We’ve been getting a lot from the Tarot for a while now and it seems they are going to make their play. this issue builds up to that as there are plans within plans and Robyn and Mystere are pulled into all and end up…somewhere else. In the meantime we get introduction to characters and learn more about Tarot and their plans for ruling (that’s what they all want to do) Nevertheless there are problems in the orginisation and talk of a coup. Some don’t like each other and that’s going to cause them problems.
This is a nice oversize one-shot with some excellent action scenes and some nice set pieces. The art is excellent and makes it fun to read.
I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next for these characters!
