The War of jokes and Riddles escalates, and both The Riddler and The Joker are building their armies. There’s a lot of collateral damage and Batman’s only role in this is reeling off the names of the people who died, their history and their dependants. It humanises the ‘cannon fodder’ a little and adds some more gravitas to it all. Out of the other villains, we get a nice seen between Poison Ivy and The Riddler and it looks like he has a new ally in his fight.
Things are really ramping up here, with some brilliant larger spreads and also some nice tight shots – mainly with The Joker.
I do wonder what the payoff to all of this will be though!
