Review: Grimm Tales Of Terror Vol 3. #7

When Chris Monroe falls for a gorgeous co-worker named Rebecca, he’ll do almost anything to win her over. He finds that the devil himself is waiting in the wings to cut a deal and make Chris’s dreams a reality. But Chris knows the price of his soul is too high of a price to pay. However, Chris soon learns that it’s not his soul the devil is necessarily after.

This is a nice “sell your soul to Satan” story trope. It kept me guessing right up to the end, and that’s when these GToT stories are at there best!
I like the story and the character moments, you can see things gradually getting worse and worse, and there seems to be no way out of it. Of course there is, and it’s the final one.

The journey to the end was well told and there is a nice payoff at the end that links it up with the beginning. The characters are well developed and the shallowness of them all is really good too!

I especially like Satan, he does his job well, and manages to get what he wants!
