Review: Agent 1.22 #3

The latest issue of Agent 1.22 is out now digitally – here are my thoughts.

The battle for the Mnemosyne rages on! Agent 1.22, Sani-Mech, and Medi-Bot fight their way through hordes of Tempest Virus victims while Matt rushes to save her.

by Stephan Nilson (Author), Tom Dheere (Author), Angelo Panetta (Author), David Martin (Author), Douglas Shuler (Illustrator)

This issue increases the paranoia. Not only of the characters, but also the reader. There is something going on here, deeper and more than we know. We are still only getting hints of it – well, we are only three issues in!
I like the way the characters are dealing with each other. There are the levels of command, true, but there are also some more personal approaches.
Interspersed with that is an interesting fight scene, with some interesting ways in getting the other hand. It isn’t all one-sided and both sides get their licks in. Plus there is an interesting flashback for Lindsay!

This seems to be a well thought out issue, with some nice building for the future, and character moments. I like the art, it has some nice big scenes and doesn’t look too CGI when close up.
