Review – Hellchild: Blood Money #2

Some thoughts on the latest issue of the Hellchild: Blood Money mini series – out now!

Angelica Blackstone attempts to keep Jake and Vera safe from Tor’s men by finding a spot for them to hide out. But when Vera spills the beans on the sadistic truth behind Tor’s actions, Angelica decides she can’t turn a blind eye and must go above and beyond her duties as a bodyguard.

Writer: Ralph Tedesco
Artwork: Butch Mapa

This issue ramps up the action well. This is only a short mini-series and needs to get moving quite fast. I like the fight scenes and Hellchild discovering just what she’s into.
It looks like shes got into a lot more than she thought – these aren’t just normal gangsters, and there’s something more about their leader. There are some good moments with him.

Talking of which Tor, takes things up a notch and now Hellchild has to go to him – but it might just mean that offence is the best form of defence!
