Review: 2000 AD – Prog 2135

Some thoughts on this weeks 2000 AD – Prog 2135

JUDGE DREDD: TECHNOPHOBES by Rory McConville (w) Inaki Miranda (a) Eva De La Cruz (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)

A good one-shot story, with the citizens being the main part of the story. I could see where this was going in a way, but there was a good moment with Dredd at the end!

SCARLET TRACES: HOME FRONT by Ian Edginton (w) D’Israeli (a) Ellie De Ville (l)

A bit on the home front. There is a bit of history here, and the ‘martians’ too. Although there is a lot of talk in this issue, I liked it, and the ending links us up nicely for the fight back!

THISTLEBONE by TC Eglington (w) Simon Davis (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

A new series, and this looks pretty creepy. Cults and maybe more. I liked th framing of it all and the way it sets up the story. I’m looking forward to next issue!

KINGMAKER: OUROBOROS by Ian Edginton (w) Leigh Gallagher (a) Ellie De Ville (l)

There is a lot of negotiation in this issue. I like the way it all builds up. With the team trying to be the better people. Nevertheless, the conclusion of this arc will throw it all up in the air. Roll on the next arc!
