Review: Transformers #7 From IDW

Some thoughts from me on Transformers #7 from IDW Publishing – out this week digitally and in print. With Chromia and Prowl, Bumblebee & Elita-1.

When another body shows up, Chromia and Prowl feel the pressure to get answers. Bumblebee, meanwhile, applies for a new job-as a bodyguard. But first, he has to impress Elita-1.

The new arc starts off where the last finished off. Bumblebee is taking things hard and making some tough (and potentially dangerous) decisions. Orion is trying to hold things together. Within all of this, there is a great tension in the air. It’s being told really well and we are no closer to either a resolution or an explosion. The slow build is really well done, and it looks like we’re going to get some action in the next issue. We get some action in this issue and it’s short, but well told.

This continues to be an excellent series and it looks like we’re going to get some additions soon!
