Review: 2000 AD – Prog 2160

Some thoughts on Prog 2160 of 2000 AD – Out now!

JUDGE DREDD: THE HARVEST by Michael Carroll (w) Nick Percival (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

We get to the bottom of the killer in this issue, and it’s a good twist. I like the reasoning behind it and the evidence all stacks up. Dredd has a choice to make and I like the way it sets up the next issue!

DEFOE: THE DIVISOR by Pat Mills (w) SK Moore (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Defoe finds a way out, but is it only for a while. We shall see, but in the meantime, it was a good look at Defoe’s thoughts of kings (always fun to see others reactions) and another threat!

BRINK: HATE BOX by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)

It may or may not be sect related (not saying yet) but Bridget has something to get her teeth into. I like the way this was investigated and tracked – very well done!

HOPE: UNDER FIRE by Guy Adams (w) Jimmy Broxton (a) Simon Bowland (l)

Hope seems to have a plan, but things don’t go as planned. I like the way it goes into his past, but it may be going too far back! This is going to have a messy finish!

THE FALL OF DEADWORLD: DOOMED by Kek-W (w) Dave Kendall (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

An interesting reveal at the end of this issue. It gives us the nature of the world which is being shown – and how different it may be. I like the character moments here, and there is some vengeance being brought upon those who deserve it!
