Review: Robyn Hood Vigilante #3

The latest issue of Robyn hood Vigilante is out this week from Zenescope Entertainment. Check out some of my short thoughts below!

Robyn has been taken in by a mysterious captor, but they will soon show themselves as anything but a mystery-and may well prove useful in Robyn’s quest to clear her name. Meanwhile, the true origins (and purpose) of the Vigilante Hunter Squad, as well as Mayor Nyguen’s identity, are revealed, and it all will spell certain doom for the Big Apple. Will Robyn, be able to enlist the help of the creatures, crazies and criminals of the Underground, or will they enlist her into an early grave?

Writer: Ben Meares

Robyn starts this issue in a bad place. She’s in the sewers and injured. As teased last issue we see that she is not alone – that question is answered pretty quickly, with a face from a past adventure helping her out.
In the meantime, we get some more information about the Mayor, and her aims. I have a feeling I know about the secret behind the robots, and it’s interesting seeing the lie being told to the public! The Mayor gives some background to her (and her kind) and at least she gives a reason for her monologging!
Robyn gets some time to heal, but it looks like she’s not going to have long – things don’t look good!
This was a good issue, which was low on action, but had some good character moments – building up the story!
