Review – Belle: Oath Of Thorns #4

Belle continues to discover more about her Mothers “death” in this latest issue of Belle: Oath of Thorns – check out my thoughts!

The beasts are loose and CHIP is under attack! While Mel and Candlestick look for safety, Belle has her own problems to deal with. With the walls closing in around all our heroes they are going to need a miracle to survive what’s coming their way. Don’t miss this pulse-pounding next issue of Belle: Oath of Thorns!

Writer: Dave Franchini
Artwork: Alessio Mariani

This was a revealing issue. Belle gets some much needed action against a strong foe – the foe who killed her mother! It’s well done, with a good number of twists and turns. There are some good ‘hope spots’ in the fight, with some funny moments too. The link to what’s happening with Stick and Mel is very well done and it adds to the dynamic that is happening within this mini-series.
Meanwhile, back at the base, Mel has to get her hands a little dirty on a mission for Stick. I like the way it set everything up, and we start to get some answers about what is going on…

This was a good issue, with some nice scenes, the answers will come and I think we’re going to see more monsters!
