Review: Grimm Fairy Tales #39

Skye’s book problems continue in the Grimm Fairy Tales ongoing series in Grimm Fairy Tales #39 from Zenescope Entertainment.

My thoughts are here.

What horrors lie inside this dark and mysterious book? And what ties does it have to Shang’s location? Skye must delve deep into the unknown if she wants to learn its secrets, but what she finds out might be too much for the Guardian of the Nexus to handle. Don’t miss this next issue of Skye’s journey!

The book continues to be a double edged sword. Skye needs to get into it to find Shang, but there are things wanting to get out.

Skye is chaffing at trying to find Shang, but there is still the school that needs running.

This was a fast read, which spins through more of the problems with the book, but this time it takes you somewhere else.

There is also talk of Shang – these might be lies, so I’m not sure who to trust.

The action in this issue was short and sweet, and there were some punches being pulled.

The story needs to get going and hopefully the issue will kickstart it.

Grimm Fairy Tales #39 is available on Amazon or ComiXology from Zenescope Entertainment.
