Cadet Dredd: Bad Seeds by Mike Carroll (w) Luke Horsman (a) Matt Soffe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Cadets Dredd and Rico have to deal with some terrorist juves. it builds up nicely and shows some of the problems Dredd will have when he gets older. I like the bit with Rico at the end – it shows more than Dredd knows, but we do.
Pandora Perfect by Roger Langridge (w) Brett Parson (a) Simon Bolland (l)
A fantastic twist – adding futuristic styles, Mary Poppins and some nice humour. I enjoy the art and the premise.
Finder & Keeper: The Curse of Kreepindeth by John Reppion (w) Davide Tinto (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bolland (l)
Some straight ghosthunting from one of my favourites. This story turns the tables and adds some mythology and some ancient curses. A good story.
Future Shocks: Boss Level by Karl Stock (w) Tom Newell (a) John Charles (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This was a fun (not as dark) Future Shock. Combining some fun tropes, this is a longer feeling read, but with some fun points.
Department K by Rory McConville (w) PJ Holden (a) Len O’Grady (c) Jim Campbell (l)
A new section for the Mega-City One Judges. this time with realities. I like the quick introduction and the threats. This was a good one.
