Review: 2000 AD – Prog 2210

Deadworld returns in this weeks 2000 AD from Rebellion.

Judge Dredd: Simply Normal by Kenneth Niemand (w) Steven Austin (a) Chris Blyth (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)

The Simp attack is as chaotic as you would think. There are some nice moments with the mechs too. I like Dredd’s reactions to the Simps – he doesn’t want to hurt them (too much)

Visions of Deadworld by Kek-W (w) Dave Kendall (a) Simon Bowland (l)

An interesting tease for the future – is it to come? Is it a time jump? Are we going to be in flashback knowing this is to come? Very interesting!

Stickleback: New Jerusalem by Ian Edginton (w) D’Israeli (a) Jim Campbell (l)

A nice wrap-up with some excellent deduction from a previous story. I like the ending here, and the tease for the future to come looks very interesting with a familiar name…

Dexter: The Funt Outta Town by Dan Abnett (w) Steve Yeowell (a) John Charles (c) Simon Bowland (l)

Just Dexter *sniff* this runs straight on from the killer issue, and now they’ve got to get out of town. It adds some new, immediate problems too!

Fiends of the Eastern Front: Constanta by Ian Edginton (w) Tiernen Trevallion (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

A nice twist in the vampire lore here, and gives us something extra. I like the art – especially the zoom in on the eyes…
