Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #112

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #112 is out now from IDW Publishing this week.

Michelangelo takes to the airwaves as tensions in Mutant Town grow! New mutants have grievances with both the Turtles and the Mutanimals as both groups plan for the future. Plus Casey Jones returns!

Sophie Campbell (Author) Jodi Nishijima (Artist, Cover Artist)

The humans in Mutant Town aren’t entirely welcome. There is some serious tension here, and the TMNT are struggling to keep things under control.

There are some different opinions here, and I like the way it is all set out. The different groups are beginning to quarrel and the tension is really in the air.

This is not without any casualties and it is teased that something like this would happen early on in the issue – luckily it doesn’t seem to be permanent – but these type of things are a good example of the problems for the new mutants.

I like the opinions of Hob and the Splinter Clan, and how different people see them compared to others. The lead up to what has been floated at the end is going to be interesting.

Although there isn’t a lot of plot building here, there is a lot of character work, which helps with the amount of characters there are in this series.
