Robot Comics publishes and produces mobile comics for hand-helds such as Apple’siPhone and iPod Touch, Google’s Android, Nintendo DSi and Amazon’s Kindle. We offer titles specifically designed and formatted to be read on e-devices.
Our goal is simple: to create and distribute high-quality mobile comics, whilecontributing to the development of the digital comics industry. To achieve this, we will be producing a select number of digital comics, as well as actively seeking proposals for new projects and adaptations of existing properties. We will also educate others on what we learn of this brand new medium, by offering frequent tutorials and articles aimed to reinforce our own knowledge and helping others to get started.
Robot Comics have really gone for a cross platform attack with digital comics. Not only have Robot comics got a good share of the iPhone market, but they also seem to be one of the strongest on the Android. Added to this the DSi and the Kindle, Robot Comics have a large potential audience.
With titles such as Robot 13 and Elf World, Robot Comics have made a name for themselves. Added to these, there is also a Scott Pilgrim app and titles such as In Maps & Legends you have a good selection to read from.
The Robot Comics reader on iPhone works very well – it adds in the vibration function when in action scenes too, which add to the experience, You also can download a comic which will automatically inform you of new issues to download.
