Viz Media have announced today a ‘speed up’ of their digital releases of ‘One Piece’ and ‘Bleach’ available on vizmanga.com and the Viz Manga App with ‘the aims of bringing both series up to date with their North American print counterparts by December.’
The move, which will add to Viz’s new digital and print scheme seen as with ‘Naruto’, will see one new volume of each series released starting this week, and then sticking to a Monday release schedule. These are some very big steps for Viz in moving towards the digital market, and should be interesting to see what they do next.
