Review: Zoe – Out of Time #2

Issue #2 of Zoe: Out of Time will soon be available on Comixology through Comixology Submit and on Amazon

Kicking off straight after where we left off – but maybe not in the case of space/time – we get the introduction of the first human time traveler from the future to the past.

Building on all the information we had about the future in the first issue, we now build on information from the past – helping us to see the larger picture. Some questions are answered, some are left unanswered. The addition of new characters from the past add a new dimension to the story – helping Zoe settle in and discover what is happening around her favourite band. The new characters, both good and bad, are well fleshed out, having their own voices too.

There’s a fair amount of action and drama here – with a potential romance and some gangsters as well. We’re halfway through the arc and I can see it going many ways – that’s the thing about timetravel 🙂

The art remains strong and makes the reading easy on the eye. IMG_1404Again the use of lights are very well done here and rarer than you would like to think in most comics!
