One of Image Comics new series, Rat Queens is featured as a free preview in last weeks free Image Comics taster comic, and I laughed out loud for the preview and I enjoyed the read of this one. There is some excellent humour and pacing here with some brilliant timing in some of the jokes The style reminds me of Skullkickers and it’s brilliant, the art is strong as we follow the Rat Queens and gangs that are sent out on a series of quests after one too many nights out!
There’s some adult humour and a darker look at someone who’s after them all……
